Iogen plans to develop the world’s first commercial-scale cellulosic ethanol plant.  

This proposed first-of-a-kind plant will:

  • Produce cleaner fuel for today’s cars, with up to 90% less CO2 emissions than traditional gasoline
  • Create permanent and construction jobs
  • Generate additional income for farmers
  • Establish a centre of excellence
  • Make Prince Albert, Saskatchewan the first location worldwide for such a facility
